Officer Training is an important stage that must be carried out before the implementation of a survey or census. Semester-level Sakernas Staff Training (Sakernas February 2019) aims to equalize perceptions between officers on understanding concepts and operational definitions of the variables asked in the 2019 National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas). The 2019 Sakernas questionnaire underwent a slight change due to additional questions and changes in concepts and definitions. Even though the changes are not significant but through the Sakernas training, it is expected that 2019 Sakernas officers can better update their knowledge about the concept of employment so that they can produce quality data.
Participants in the 2019 Sakernas Training activities consisted of 10 PML and 7 PCL, all training participants were organic employees of North Kolaka Regency BPS. The one who became a National Instructor (Innas) in this training was Aditya Dwi Haryanto, S.ST (Staff of the Social Section of North Kolaka Regency BPS) who had participated in the Innas Training in Bandung.
Sakernas Semester or Sakernas Training in February 2019 was held at Puri Yasmin Hotel, Jalan Baru, Patowanua Village, Lasusua Subdistrict, from 26 to 28 January 2019. For three effective days the trainees were taught the concepts of population and employment as well as employment variables. the new one.
In addition to the presentation of material by the National Instructor (Innas), the Sakernas training was also filled with discussions on field cases that often occurred during the Sakernas enumeration. In addition, the practice of role playing was also carried out in this training by bringing respondents interviewed according to the 2019 Sakernas questionnaire.
In general, the implementation of the Sakernas Training went well even though there were still few obstacles, especially in the technical constraints of the implementation of the activities.
All Sakernas Training participants successfully followed all stages of the Sakernas training starting with the opening, material, role playing, evaluation and closing of the Sakernas Training. From the results of the evaluation of the training material, the participants showed good results with an average evaluation value of 78.8.
