Abstract

The percentage of poor people in September 2024 was 10.63 percent, down 0.58 percentage points compared to March 2024.
The number of poor people in September 2024 was 305.27 thousand people, down 14.44 thousand people compared to March 2024.
The percentage of urban poor people in September 2024 was 6.78 percent, down compared to March 2024 which was 7.45 percent.
Meanwhile, the percentage of rural poor people in September 2024 was 13.07 percent, down compared to March 2024 which was 13.60 percent. Compared to March 2024, the number of urban poor people in September 2024 fell by 6.84 thousand people (from 82.61 thousand people in March 2024 to 75.77 thousand people in September 2024). Meanwhile, in the same period, the number of poor rural residents decreased by 7.60 thousand people (from 237.10 thousand people in March 2024 to 229.50 thousand people in September 2024).
The Poverty Line in September 2024 was recorded at IDR 473,343/capita/month with the composition of the Food Poverty Line of IDR 353,412 (74.66 percent) and the Non-Food Poverty Line of IDR 119,931 (25.34 percent).
In September 2024, on average, poor households in Southeast Sulawesi had 5.05 household members.
Thus, the average Poverty Line per poor household is IDR 2,390,382/poor household/month
