Abstract

  • The Southeast Sulawesi NTP in June 2019 was recorded at 94.37 or increased by 0.33 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 94.06. The NTP of each subsector is listed as follows: Food Crop Subsector (NTPP) 85.32; Horticulture Subsector (NTPH) 94.63; Community Plantation Crop Subsector (NTPR) 87.25; Livestock Subsector (NTPT) 106.08 and Fisheries Subsector (NTNP) 117.70. While the National NTP Index was 102.33, down by 0.28 percent from 102.61.
  • In June 2019, 13 provinces experienced a national increase in NTP, while 20 other provinces experienced a decline in NTP. The highest increase was recorded in West Nusa Tenggara Province at 1.43 percent, while the largest decrease was recorded in Riau Province at 3.12 percent.
  • In June 2019 Southeast Sulawesi Province recorded experiencing rural inflation of 1.09 percent. This happened because of an increase in the price index in six sub-groups of household consumption, namely the foodstuff sub-group by 2.44 percent; subgroups of processed foods, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco 0.06 percent; clothing sub-group 0.17 percent; health sub-group by 0,18 percent; the education, recreation and sports group by 0.05 percent; and transportation and communication subgroups of 0.15 percent. While the housing sub-group recorded a decline of 0.18 percent.
