Abstract

  • Southeast Sulawesi NTP in April 2019 was recorded at 93.88 or decreased by 0.32 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 94.19. The NTP of each subsector is listed as follows: Food Crop Subsector (NTPP) 89.75; Horticulture Subsector (NTPH) 93.63; People's Plantation Subsector (NTPR) 84.58; Livestock Subsector (NTPT) 105.35 and Fisheries Subsector (NTNP) 115.89. While the National NTP Index was 102.23 or fell by 0.49 percent from 102.73 previously.
  • In April 2019, nationally 11 provinces experienced an increase in NTP, while 23 other provinces experienced a decline in NTP. The highest increase was recorded in West Sulawesi Province which amounted to 1.39 percent, while the largest decrease was recorded in Gorontalo Province at 1.60 percent.
  • In April 2019 the Southeast Sulawesi Province recorded rural inflation of 0.26 percent. This is due to an increase in the price index in five sub-groups of household consumption, namely the foodstuff sub-group by 0.54 percent; subgroups of processed food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco 0.11 percent; clothing sub-group 0.04 percent; percent; education, recreation and sports group 0.07 percent; and the transportation and communication subgroup rose by 0.04 percent. While the recorded subgroups fell, namely the housing sub-group by 0.03 percent in the health sub-group by 0.01 percent.
