Southeast Sulawesi NTP in March 2019 recorded 94.19 or an increase of 1.41 percent

Abstract

  • Southeast Sulawesi NTP in March 2019 was recorded 94.19 or increased by 1.41 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 92.87. The NTP of each subsector is listed as follows: Food Crop Subsector (NTPP) 90.58; Horticulture Subsector (NTPH) 92.90; Community Plantation Crop Subsector (NTPR) 84.86; Livestock Subsector (NTPT) 105.90 and Fisheries Subsector (NTNP) 116.57. While the National NTP Index was 102.73 or fell by 0.21 percent from 102.94.
  • In March 2019, 17 provinces experienced a national increase in NTP, while 16 other provinces experienced a decline in NTP. The highest increase was recorded in Southeast Sulawesi Province, which amounted to 1.41 percent, while the largest decrease was recorded in DKI Jakarta Province at 2.43 percent.
  • In March 2019 the Southeast Sulawesi Province recorded a rural deflation of 0.31 percent. This happened because of a decrease in the price index in the two groups of household consumption, namely the subgroup of foodstuffs with a decrease of 0.74 percent and the housing sub-group by 0.13 percent. While the other subgroups were recorded to rise, namely the sub-group of processed food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco 0.11 percent; clothing group 0.07 percent; health group 0.01 percent; education, recreation and sports group 0.05 percent; and the transportation and communication group rose by 0.04 percent
