Abstraction
  • Deflation Kendari City in November 2015, stood at -0.10 percent in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) 117.46. Nationally from 82 cities that calculate inflation, 69 cities recorded inflation and 13 cities recorded deflation, the highest inflation was recorded in the city of Merauke (Papua Province) 2.35 percent and the lowest inflation was recorded in the city of Ternate (Maluku Povinsi) 0.02 percent. Meanwhile highest deflation was recorded in the City of Bandar Lampung (Bangka Belitung) 1.02 percent.
  • Deflation in Kendari recorded due to lower food price index in the group of 0.76 percent as well as education, recreation and sport 0.02 percent. While the group recorded positive namely, processed foods, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco at 0.39 percent; health 0.19 percent; transportation, communication and financial services recorded 0.07 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel and clothing 0.03 percent respectively.
  • Commodities that contributed the greatest deflation is skipjack; bloated / puffy; long eggplant; Kite / bump; long beans; Rambe; yellow tail; gold jewelry; eggs and cucumber.
  • Commodities that contributed the greatest inflation was red peppers; banana; Tomato fruit; Kale; banding / sponge; spinach; cigarettes; filter cigarettes; air transport as well as beef.
  • Of the eleven cities on the island of Sulawesi, 9 cities recorded inflation and 2 cities recorded defflasi. Inflation was recorded at 0.10 percent Kendari (Sulawesi Tenggara) and Manado 0.01 percent (North Sulawesi). While the highest inflation in the City Baubau (Sulawesi Tenggara Province) 1.27 percent.
  • Inflation Kendari calendar year (January to November 2015 recorded 1.12 percent and the inflation rate year-on-year (November 2015 to November 2014) was recorded 4.43 percent.
  • The inflation rate Kendari calendar year (January to November 2014 recorded 3.99 percent and the inflation rate year on year (November 2014 to November 2013) stood at 4.00 percent.
  • National Inflation November 2015 recorded 0.21 percent and the rate of inflation (January to November 2015) to 2.37 per cent and the inflation rate year on year (November 2015 to November 2014) amounted to 4.89 percent.
