Rice-to-Rice Conversion Survey (SKGB) period March-april 2018

Tuesday, April 10, 2018 The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Kolaka Utara District again conducted data collection of Rice-Paddy Conversion Assessment (SKGB) for the period of March-April 2018. This survey was conducted to support government targets related to the fulfillment of food needs in accordance with Government Work Plan center of 2018 which states that food security is one of the national priorities that must be implemented. The result of this SKGB activity is expected to produce conversion number from Harvest Dry Harvest (GKP) to Grain Dry Mill (GKG) according to field condition with better accuracy level. In addition, this activity is also expected to be able to calculate the milling rendeman for the calculation of rice production from paddy quality of GKG.

The Rice-Paddy Conversion Survey (SKGB) was conducted in 34 provinces in Indonesia. The execution time is done in 2 stages, ie March-April represents the rainy season, and June-August 2018 represents the dry season. The sample of SKGB BPS of North Kolaka regency is 18 samples of rice milling, divided into 2 enumeration periods. So that in each period of counting aka tone 9 rice miller into the sample.
