Abstract

The number of domestic air passengers departing in August 2024 was recorded at 57,300 people or an increase of 0.44 percent compared to July 2024 which was recorded at 57,050 people. Meanwhile, the number of passengers arriving in August 2024 fell by 12.79 percent compared to July 2024, from 61,667 people to 53,778 people.
The number of domestic sea passengers departing in August 2024 was recorded at 106,503 people or a decrease of 12.61 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 121,869 people. Meanwhile, the number of passengers arriving in August 2024 was 95,137 people or a decrease of 5.66 percent compared to July 2024 which was recorded at 100,848 people.
The amount of goods unloaded from domestic ships in August 2024 decreased by 18.56 percent compared to July 2024, from 1,194,006 tons to 972,353 tons. However, the amount of goods loaded by domestic ships increased by 12.07 percent compared to July 2024, from 4,027,818 tons to 4,513,817 tons.
