In May 2024, the number of passengers departing by air transportation in Sulawesi Tenggara Province decreased by 17.93 percent

Abstract

The number of domestic air transport passengers departing in May 2024 was recorded at 50,519 people, down 17.93 percent compared to April 2024, which was recorded at 61,559 people. Meanwhile, the number of passengers who came in May 2024 decreased by 14.00 percent compared to April 2024, from 59,436 people to 51,115 people.
The number of domestic sea transportation passengers departing in May 2024 was recorded at 117,313 people, down 35.42 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 181,642 people. Meanwhile, the number of passengers arriving in May 2024 was 93,126 people, down 36.80 percent compared to April 2024, which was recorded at 147,349 people.
The number of goods unloaded from domestic ships in May 2024 increased by 35.37 percent compared to April 2024, from 649,250 tons to 878,908 tons. Meanwhile, the number of goods loaded by domestic ships has increased an increase of 16.85 percent compared to April 2024, from 3,718,940 tons to 4,345,730 tons.
