Economy of Sulawesi Tenggara 2023 Grow 5,35 Persent

Abstract

The economy of Sulawesi Tenggara based on the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices in 2023 reached IDR 176.18 trillion and at constant prices in 2010 it reached IDR 108.15 trillion.

Ecomony of Sulawesi Tenggara in 2023 experienced growth of 5.35 percent (c-to-c), which is slower than in 2022 which grew by 5.53 percent. In terms of production, the Industry of Manufactured experienced the highest growth of 12.81 percent. In terms of expenditure, the component of LNPRT Consumption Expenditure experienced the highest growth of 7.64 percent.

Ecomony of Sulawesi Tenggara in the fourth quarter of 2023 compared to the fourth quarter of 2022 experienced growth of 5.25 percent (y-on-y). In terms of production, the Industry of Manufactured experienced the highest growth of 28.25 percent. In terms of expenditure, the component of LNPRT Consumption Expenditure experienced the highest growth of 13.18 percent.

Ecomony of Sulawesi Tenggara in quarter IV-2023 to quarter III-2023 experienced growth of 6.03 percent (q-to-q). In terms of production, the Industry of Manufactured experienced the highest growth of 21.60 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the highest growth occurred in the Component of Goods and Services Export at 27.46 percent.

In terms of production, the category of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries provide the most dominant contribution to Sulawesi Tenggara's GRDP in 2023 amounting to 23.02 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the most dominant contribution occurred in the Household Consumption Expenditure Component at 46.18 percent.
