Having an internet network is not a cheap thing. Components of a network require considerable costs. For BPS the internet connection is an important part of every activity process. Poor internet connection can cause many problems.

Therefore we need a network maintenance and maintenance. The goal is so that the network components are not quickly damaged and can last a long time. In addition care and maintenance is also done so that the network can be used properly as it should.

In January 2019, the Kolaka Utara Regency Integration and Statistics Dissemination (IPDS) Section made changes to the previous wireless network (Wireless) to use wired media. This is done to improve network performance or stability so as to facilitate the activities carried out.

Previously, the North Kolaka BPS internet network used Wireless, but often encountered several obstacles, including the internet network, often unstable and greatly affected by the weather conditions. So that at the beginning of 2019 North Kolaka BPS tried to change the network system to network with cable media.

Of the 14 PCs in the BPS North Kolaka Regency, 6 PCs have used networks with cables. While the other 8 are under construction.

The process of installing the cable network was carried out by the IPDS Section and was supervised directly by the BPS head of the District. North Kolaka.
