Abstract

Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) is one of the economic data tools that can be used to evaluate the economic development performance of a region (province or regency/municipality). This data set can also be used for other interests and purposes, such as the basis for developing economic models in order to formulate the policy, the level of velocity of money, financial sector deepening, taxation, export and imports study and so on. This publication specifically discusses GRDP according to the final expenditure/demand approach. This approach is detailed into several components, namely: Household Consumption Expenditures, Non-Profit Institution Serving Household Consumption Expenditures, Government Consumption Expenditures, Investment (Gross Fixed Capital Formation and Changes in Inventories), Foreign Exports, Foreign Imports, and Net Exports Between Regions (exports between regions reduced by imports between regions). GRDP data in this publication and subsequent publications use the 2010 base year, and have adopted the System of National Accounts 2008 concept.
