MICRO AND SMALL INDUSTRY SURVEY 2018

The Quarterly IMK survey is conducted in order to capture micro / small industry businesses / companies and record some information regarding the dynamics of business continuity / companies. The Quarterly IMK survey is also intended as a source of data for Quarterly IMK production growth that can illustrate the development of production in the micro and small business manufacturing sectors. The objective of the IMK Survey in general is to determine the growth of IMK production which can be used as a material for planning macroeconomic activities. The Quarterly IMK survey will present data on the growth of micro / small scale business / company production according to the 2-digit Indonesian Standard Business Classification (KBLI) at the national and provincial levels. The target of the Quarterly IMK Survey data collection is Micro Industries (labor 1-4 people) and Small Industries (Labor 5-19 people).

The IMK Trial IV 2018 enumeration activities were carried out in the period of 1-9 January 2019. Furthermore, the IMK questionnaire was examined in the District BPS. The stage that is carried out after the examination is pengentrian through the IMK Survey application. The entrain result database is sent to the Provincial BPS on January 10, 2019.

The number of samples for the IMK Trial IV quarter 2018 census block is 7 Census Blocks in Katoi, Kodeoha, Tiwu, Pakue, Pakue Tengah, North Pakue and Batu Putih sub-districts respectively. The total number of samples is 35 businesses, all of which are Micro industries. The number of officers collecting data on the IMK Survey was 5 people, namely Thomas, Usmawi, Kasbi, Indriani and Suardi. The types of industrial businesses enumerated in North Kolaka Regency are wet cake industry, patchouli distillation, brown sugar, brick making, refillable bottled water, boat making, sawmills, copra, tailors and welding workshops. In general, there were no obstacles faced in the implementation of the fourth quarter 2018 CPI survey.
