Data collection of the Rural Food Consumer Price Survey (HKD1) is carried out by the Central Bureau of Statistics every month. This survey was carried out by visiting traders directly at the market and at kiosks or shops. This is done to get an overview, the prices of food commodities directly from the source.
In addition, the enumeration of HKD1 is useful for compiling price indexes paid by food group farmers and increasing farmer exchange rates.
