SUSENAS is a routine survey conducted by BPS. Susenas has become an important source of household socioeconomic data in Indonesia. Susenas provides data relating to socio-economic conditions of the community including health, education, fertility, family planning, housing conditions, social protection and other socio-economic conditions.

Data and indicators from Susenas have been widely used and are seen as one of the important evidences that can be useful for planning, monitoring and evaluating government development programs. As in previous years, in 2018 BPS again conducted SUSENAS data collection in September 2018.

The collection of National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) data by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of North Kolaka has begun to take place on September 1 and is planned to end on September 20, 2018. In this September susenas activity, there were 110 households that were the data collection samples. 110 of these households will be interviewed directly by good survey officers who register as BPS employees or partners.

These survey officers were previously trained by national instructors (INNAS) to provide the concept of the definition and operational standards of the activities in this survey. 110 households that became the susenas sample in September 2018 were spread in 15 sub-districts in North Kolaka Regency.
