SUSENAS September 2108 Household Update

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of North Kolaka Regency carried out a household update on the National Socio-Economic Survey (SUSENAS). This household update / update takes place on 27 - 31 August 2018. This update aims to provide an overview of the household population in one census block.

Household updates are carried out with a door-to-door system, this is intended to guarantee the accuracy of the data to be collected. In addition to updating the existence of households, officers also updated the number of household members and the latest Education of the head of the household.

Updating this household is one of a series of SUSENAS activities. After updating this, it will be completed. Pull the sample of households selected as SUSENAS respondents for complete enumeration by BPS officials.

September SUSENAS enumeration will be held on 1-20 September 2018.

The National Socio-Economic Survey or better known as SUSENAS is a routine survey conducted by BPS. Susenas has become an important source of household socioeconomic data in Indonesia. Susenas provides data relating to socio-economic conditions of the community including health, education, fertility, family planning, housing conditions, social protection and other socio-economic conditions. Data and indicators from Susenas have been widely used and are seen as one of the important evidences that can be useful for planning, monitoring and evaluating government development programs. As in previous years, in 2018 BPS again conducted SUSENAS data collection in September 2018.
