Southeast Sulawesi Economy Grows 6.81 Percent

Southeast Sulawesi's economic outlook shows a positive trend, recorded economic growth in Southeast Sulawesi in 2017 of 6.81 percent or up from the previous year's growth of only 6.51 percent and higher than the national growth of 5.07 percent. Head of BPS Southeast Sulawesi Atqo Mardiyanto on Press Release in the Vicon BPS hall of Southeast Sulawesi Monday (5/2) said that all categories of Southeast Sulawesi Economy in 2017 experienced positive growth.           The released data shows that the economic condition of consumers in quarter IV-2017 (index value of 103.09) increased compared to the previous quarter. However, the level of consumer optimism is lower when compared to quarter III-2017 (index value of 110.03).
